Hello there! My name is Jessica and I’m a former teacher and owner of Simply Split Creations. Most of my experience has been in Pre K-2nd grade classrooms. I have always LOVED working with children. Ever since I was a kid, I longed for younger siblings so I could teach them and help them grow. I never did get a younger sibling, BUT that desire led me into my teaching career and I have loved my journey in education. Starting in college, I began making resources for my personal use while student teaching and working in other classrooms. Once I started teaching, I only started making MORE and MORE resources which I absolutely loved doing. Eventually I started selling my resources and the rest is history. It is such a great feeling knowing that my resources that have helped me in my classroom are able to spread and help other educators as well.
Other than my obsession with education, I love volleyball, camping, playing the piano and ukulele as well as playing games with my family. Watercolor painting, rainbow colors and organization bring joy to my heart. I’m a water lover and smoothies and potatoes keep me sane and my stomach happy.
